Description: In fiscal year 1995-96, rape crisis programs in Pennsylvania
served 31,512 people: 10,896 were adult victims 8,097 were child victims
12,519 were significant others In fiscal year 1995/96, Pennsylvania rape
crisis center personnel spent more than 252,000 hours working with sexual
violence victims and their significant others.

Myths and Facts Description: The force may include weapons,
intimidation, drugs, alcohol, or a victim's own diminished mental capacity.
However; a full 25% percent are reported more than 24 hours after the rape
occurred.

raped Description: If You Are Raped First, get to a safe place
then contact someone who can help you such as the police, a friend, or your
local rape crisis center. You can have a specific rape examination which
will provide evidence in a case against the perpetrator.
