Free Advertising

One dictionary defines advertising as to make publicly and generally known.  It is similar to words like declare, announce, annunciate, blazon, broadcast, bruit (about), proclaim, promulgate, publish, sound, recount, relate, report; communicate, impart; ballyhoo, promote, propagandize, publicize

You may have the greatest product and the greatest web pages in the world, but who will know about it?  You must advertise your page. Thankfully, the Web provides many free opportunities to advertise. If you want something other than free web page listings, click on the above banner.

For the long term, list your web pages with the major search engines.  This first site gets to most of them, but not Yahoo.

After using the above form, also list with Yahoo.  This is the one major site the above engine does not hit.  The page you will click on will send you to Yahoo's category search.  Search through the categories.  Find the category that best suits your page.  This may take several clicks into the category.  When you find the page you feel you belong on, find and click on "add URL".  The enter your data.

There are still more FREE advertising sites below.  If you stick to this business, and don't get discouraged when all the quick reach schemes fail to yield quick riches, you will get to a point where you will want more sophisticated submittal tools.  One place to do this, initially for free, but later for a donation, is by Clicking here .  I use this service regularly.  It was so good that after a few free uses I decided to make a donation.  The donations are VERY reasonable compared to what some people will want you to pay for them to post even a few pages.
