link, directly with Dick. Dick will do any research for anyone, if the topic
interests him and/or he thinks he can create a web page to help other people
who may have the same need. In most cases he will respond within the day if
you just want advice on where to do research. In some cases he has
created full websites for information requests that interested him, or
produced information he felt might help others. Dick is usually willing to
help people who have a unique need for legal research and cannot afford a
lawyer, even if the subject is not of general interest.. Or, in such cases
where someone needs advice on choosing a lawyer, Dick will help with the kinds
of questions that he thinks need to be asked of a lawyer. Dick is NOT a
lawyer, and cannot give legal advice.
Dick has a paralegal degree, a BS in electronic engineering,
an MS in Advanced Technology, and is the CEO of dicksguides.com. He is
experienced in web research, computer design, logic design, MIS management,
child advocacy, technical management, relay circuit design, and other areas.
He has authored several books, including How To Make The Purchased Part Cycle

WARNING: Dick tries to help everyone, all the time. So, heed
this warning. If you ask him for help, he will likely send you email advice
on a whole range of other issues. Of course, if you get tired of the email
you can ask him to stop and he will.

is simply to tell you he won't be doing the research. If you don't get an
answer in 24 hours it is likely that Dick is either dead, away on a trip or
going through one of his "to hell with everything" phases that usually last as
many as three days. He suffers this periodically when he comes to realize he
can't help everyone that needs help.
In the email that you will send Dick, the subject heading
should have the word RESEARCH or RESEARCH ADVICE. Also place in the
subject heading the general nature of the request, e.g. RESEARCH Xanax or
RESEARCH ADVICE on suing. Dick will more quickly answer questions for
RESEARCH ADVICE. If it's a term paper, or other student need, try to be as
specific as possible in this heading, do not use the word "term paper" but use
the subject of the term paper, i.e. "Russia and alcoholism."
