1997: The Public prosecutor in Harlan, Kentucky Robert D. Thomas, a lawyer, was arrested for attempted murder. Apparently he had a private practice on the side and started shooting two of his clients during an ordinary business meeting.
August 1997: Lying, money taking politicians pretend they want to control tobacco but vote for tobacco subsidies, to keep the costs of smoking down, the way their tobacco clients want. Cheap cigarettes are the only thing kids can afford.
